I have been involved with biting fly control across Canada since 1983. Our two main problems are mosquitoes and black fly. In fact, there are some Canadians who think that the black flies should replace the beaver as our national symbol.
I was looking for a trap that had the attractive components that would work on both mosquitoes and black flies. Most of the traps already on the market either didn't work or didn't meet my expectations when it came to catching mosquitoes. None claim to catch black flies. In my opinion, the Mosquito Management System used all the attractants currently known to science and should do the job in reducing populations of black flies and mosquitoes.
I set up a trial in Labrador, probably one of the most notorious places in Canada for mosquitoes and black flies. The results were impressive; the traps caught literally thousands of mosquitoes and black flies. West Nile virus has crossed from the U.S into Ontario and will likely spread though out southern Canada. Mosquitoes transmit this disease. The Lake Joseph area has always had a mosquito problem and we have a swamp area behind our cottage that is a perfect breeding site for mosquitoes. We were bothered by mosquitoes from late spring through the summer months.

The "Tallebudgera Cove" complex of 56 townhouses is situated at West Burleigh on the Gold Coast, Australia. The complex is located right on the banks of the tidal Tallebudgera Creek and is further surrounded by mangroves and natural bushland which are ideal breeding grounds for mosquitos, midges and sandflies.
We previously had eight of the predecessor models to Mosquito Management System installed in the complex at the end of 1998 which only used two attractants, being carbon dioxide and UV light. Since being replaced with eight of your latest Mosquito Management Systems, we have found that the catches are substantially higher, with less moths being caught. This may be due to the ten attractants used in your system. Another real benefit are the tamper free valves on the gas cylinders, as children are unable to alter the gas flow. The continuing service to the installations is carried out in a very consistent and professional manner.

This will confirm that MozzieFREE have installed their control system at Tallebudgera Cove Complex of 56 townhouses at West Burleigh on the Gold Coast. The system of eight (8) machines surround our complex, which is situated on the banks of the Tallebudgera Creek River, and is further surrounded by National Park forest and mangrove swamps, which naturally is real midge and mosquito territory. We have found since these machines were connected prior to Christmas last year, the tenants have found peace from these insects, and are now able to sit in their yards without being bitten alive. I myself was once susceptible to being bitten and since the machines have been working, I have not been bitten at all whilst working in the grounds.

I have tested it for almost a year here at Waterloo Bay and found that it trapped many more midges and mosquitoes than I had time to identify under the microscope.
