The Mosquito Slayer mimics the animals that mosquitoes love to bite.

The Mosquito Slayer uses 10 proven attractants to trap mosquitoes.

The Mosquito Slayer is easily installed and maintained.

All high-end mosquito traps use consumables that need to be replaced or replenished on a regular basis. The Mosquito Slayer uses the following:
  • Octenol: every 3-4 weeks
  • Lactic Lure: As needed. If the Mosquito Slayer is in a shady area, it may need to be topped off as infrequently as once a month or even less. If the Mosquito Slayer is in a hot, sunny location, it will need attention more often.

Note: If the tray that holds the Lacture Lure solution dries out completely, you will not capture anything. The Mosquito Slayer kills mosquitoes by forcing them into the tray of Lactic Lure solution where they drown, but only if there is liquid for them to drown in!
  • Carbon Dioxide Gas: Release of CO2 is controlled by the Master's built-in programmable computer, so how long a tank of gas lasts will depend on the program. In typical use, the Master will be programmed to release gas for several hours at dawn and dusk, about 5 hours per day. At that rate, a 20 lb (9 kg) tank should last about a month. See the CO2 usage chart for details.
